DiBos offers built-in connectivity, with interfaces
for a wide range of external systems and
equipment. For example, entrance card readers,
security panels, barcode readers, recording
trigger devices, fire and intruder alarm systems,
video content analyzers, management systems
and many more.
Remote access via Remote
Receiver or web browser
The DiBos Remote Receiver software allows live
image viewing, search and viewing of recorded
images on remote DiBos units, image recording
and alarm receiving. All this is done on a PC, with
the same user interface as the DiBos unit itself,
and without the need to install additional soft-
ware. Virtually all DiBos functionality is accessible
remotely, including control of cameras or
relay
outputs and exporting of images. A standard PC
web browser can be used for viewing live and
recorded images.
System management and
integration
In line with the trend toward integrated video and
building management systems, DiBos can be
integrated with these systems using OPC (OLE for
process control) and IP technology. Multiple DiBos
units can even be combined for extensive storage
capacities or large numbers of input channels.
LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
compliance meets the needs of large organizations
for Global User Management, providing convenient
solutions for total system management.
Easy, time-saving
system installation
DiBos offers fast, efficient installation. Use of
existing network infrastructures and cabling
virtually eliminates physical installation work,
while plug & play hardware provides ‘out of the
box’ operation. Set-up and configuration are
handled by a software wizard that automatically
shows all available cameras. The Bosch Bilinx
Bi-Directional Communication Technology allows
for remote camera set-up and PTZ control without
separate data cables, making this an ideal
solution for remote or hard-to reach locations.
