An oven must have power ventilation to install a hob

Preparing the ki tchen unit

If there is no oven below the cooking hob, place a non-

inflammable separator (e. g. m et al or plywood) 10mm

from the bottom of the cooking hob. This will prevent

access to the b ase of the hob.

O n wood work surfa c es varnish the cutting surf aces with

a sp e cial glue. This prot e cts them from water vapour

which could collect und er the work surface.

Hob installation
