1. Connect the programming key to the plug marked as "PROGRAMMING KEY" on the top of

the printed circuit board (PCB) of the alarm control panel. Please note that the direction

of the programming key should be consistent with the direction marked on the PCB.

2. Select text keypad installation menu [ADDRESS/KEY PROGR – COPY DATA TO PANEL]

and Press [#]. After successfully copying the programming data in programming key to

the alarm control panel, the confirmation tone will be sounded. Wrong prompt tone and

display of [Failure of Key Parameters to Control Panel] indicate damage of programming

key data. The data need to be copied into the alarm control panel again.

3. Unplug the programming key from the alarm control panel.

LED/Icon LCD keypad can also be used to copy key parameters to the alarm control panel. For

more information refer to Command 963 .

Firmware Upgrade with the ICP-EZRU2 Upgrade Key

Use Firmware Upgrade Key (green) to upgrade Firmware of alarm control panel.

Procedure:

– Power OFF alarm control panel. Also remove battery. Unplug USB cable, if plugged.

– Locate the socket labeled PROGRAMMING KEY at the top of the printed circuit board

(PCB). Observe the triangular markings on the PCB and align them with the markings on

the upgrade key.

– Power ON alarm control panel. Observe LED of upgrade key lights steady during upgrade

is sent to alarm control panel. This takes about one minute. When upgrade is terminated,

LED is blinking.

– Remove upgrade key
