PC Programming
By means of Remote Programming Software (RPS) installed on a remote PC (RPC), the
Control Panel Configuration can be remotely programmed or controlled, including sending/
receiving programming data, arming/disarming each area, enabling/disabling the alarm siren of
each area, enabling/disabling each remote output, etc.
RPS, i.e., Remote Programming Software, includes Bosch A-Link Plus software and the third-
party software of integrated with Bosch SDK.
This software allows you to simply program and control the Control Panel Configuration of the
customer in the office and provide more efficient service for the customer.
The connection from the remote PC to the Control Panel Configuration can be established
through either USB line, telephone or IP network.
Prerequisites for all following ways of connections:
Select index sheet “Control Panel Configuration”. Refer to figure , page 92
– Make sure that Control Panel Type is “AMAX4000”.
– Make sure that the value for Subscriber Number of Destination 1 is the same as currently
programmed in AMAX panel 4000. The value is 000000, when firmware of AMAX panel
4000 was upgraded or AMAX panel 4000 has factory settings.
Select item “System Options” in the same index sheet. Refer to figure , page 93
– Make sure that the value for parameter “Installer code” is the same as currently
programmed in AMAX panel 4000. The value is 1234, when firmware of AMAX panel 4000
was upgraded or AMAX panel 4000 has factory settings.
