9.6 Digital Inputs/Outputs
Brief Description
In their basic configuration (without optional modules), all IndraDrive
controllers already have configurable digital inputs/outputs. The number
and function of the inputs/outputs differ according to the type and
configuration of control section.
See documentation "Project Planning Manual for Control Sections"
Digital Inputs/Outputs on Control Section
• fixed time base (T = 500 µs) for sampling the digital inputs/outputs and
transmitting data to the digital inputs/outputs
• configurable digital inputs/outputs with effective direction that can
partly be freely set (input or output):
• advanced control sections (13 pins) with firmware MPH02:
• 4 digital inputs/outputs
• 3 digital inputs
• 2 inputs can alternatively be used as analog input (differential
input)
• 2 rapid inputs as probe inputs (in steps of µs)
• 1 isolated relay switch contact (can be configured)
• basic control sections (10 pins) with firmware MPB02:
3 digital inputs/outputs
4 digital inputs
• no analog input
• 1 rapid input as probe input (in steps of µs)
• 1 isolated relay switch contact (can be configured)
• double-axis control sections (24 pins) with firmware MPD02:
• 4 digital inputs/outputs
• 6 digital inputs
• 2 inputs can alternatively be used as analog input (differential
input)
• 2 rapid inputs as probe inputs (in steps of µs)
• 2 isolated relay switch contacts (can be configured)
• all inputs/outputs (except for the relay contact) designed for level of
0 V (LOW) or 24 V (HIGH)
• assignment of inputs/outputs to internal parameters or bits
• status of digital inputs/outputs mapped to separate parameter
• separate 24 V supply of the digital outputs
• inputs/outputs galvanically isolated
Note: Each individual input/output can be assigned to parameters of
the drive; IDNs of the allowed parameters from IDN lists in
S-0-0398 and S-0-0399.
